HISTORY OF AIR FORCE WEEK

Above All, the US Air Force defends America. We do this by dominating air, space, and cyberspace. Air Force Week brings Airmen to your neighborhood to tell their stories.

For 2008 three locations were selected to host Air Force Week events:

• East Coast - Philadelphia, PA (May 26th - June 1st 2008)
• In the Heartland - Omaha, NE (August 9th - 17th 2008)
• West Coast - Los Angeles, CA (November 14th - 21st 2008)

Air Force Week in the Heartland will be supported by Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska with numerous large and small events planned throughout the week in venues spanning the entire state of Nebraska, western Iowa, southeast South Dakota and northern Kansas.
